UPS and other subsidiaries

United Parcel Service and other subsidiaries (“UPS"), are responsible for collecting your personal data, the use that is given to them and their protection.                                                

Use of your Personal Information

Your personal information will be used primarily for the following purposes that gave rise to your legal relationship with UPS: (i) evaluate your abilities and skills to offer or promote employment within our organization; (Ii) contact your personal references to assess your moral and social standing to hold a position within UPS or its affiliates; (iii) integrate and maintain your file in the human resources department in case you are hired by UPS; (iv) grant you the employment benefits that correspond to you under the applicable law and your employment contract in case you are hired by UPS; (v) provide information to labor, tax or other authorities that request it or to whom UPS is obliged to provide information; (vi) send you job offers or information about your employment or service relationship with UPS, including applicable policies and internal regulations; And (vii) provide information to the insurance agents and institutions responsible for issuing the insurance policies that are part of the employment benefits (if applicable and if hired by UPS) or to third party service providers of UPS.

In addition, your personal information will be used to: (i) send you information about UPS, its subsidiaries and shareholders in and around the world; (ii) sending information, magazines and news from our industry or topics that we consider may interest you, as well as news, communications or advertising of UPS, its subsidiaries and shareholders in or around the world; ; (iii) provide your information to external auditors or interested parties in conducting business, providing financing, acquiring the shares or assets of UPS or its shareholders or affiliates in or around the world or interested to merging with UPS; (iv) advertising or commercial prospecting purposes of UPS, its subsidiaries and shareholders in or around the world or third parties; And (v) statistical uses to measure the quality of UPS services. 

Personal Information We Treat

For the main purposes referred to in the first paragraph of the previous section, we require that you directly provide us with the following personal information: (i) full name; (Ii) private address; (iii) name and relationship with the persons to whom they are affiliated, (vii) private telephone and mobile phone, (viii) date of birth, (ix) date of hiring or entry; (x) date of termination of employment (if applicable); (xi) sex (xii) current category or position, employment history, category or position for which employment was applied; (xiii) working day and hours; (xiv) supervisor's name; (xv) supervisor or leader´s name; (xvi) payments or remuneration; (xvii) states of the employment relationship (active or inactive); (xviii) location or region of employment; (xix) area of ​​work; (xx) branch of work or work center; (xxi) building or work office; (xxii) department or area of ​​work; (xxiii) bank account for the dispersion of payroll and benefits; (xxiv) present health status and medical history, including information about past illnesses, accidents, treatments, or hospitalizations; (xxv) information obtained through physical exams and mental evaluations; (xxvi) information of its economic dependents; (xxvii) driver's license number; (xxviii) military card number; (xxiv) name and contact details of parents, siblings, spouse and children and other work references; (xxx) occupation of parents, siblings, spouse and children and other employment references; (xxxi) data and working conditions of your previous employment, including your previous salary and benefits; (xxxii) academic history and degree of schooling; And (xxxiii) current or past union affiliation. 

Some of these data, including your union membership, current health status, and medical history (including information about past illnesses, accidents, treatments, or hospitalizations) may be considered sensitive, and we require your express consent for the treatment of your sensitive data. 

Also, some of this data, including your bank account number for the payroll scatter and the data of your previous salaries and benefits, are considered financial or patrimonial data, so we require your express consent for their treatment. 

By agreeing to this privacy notice, you expressly approve for us to treat your personal sensitive and financial data. 

In the event that you do not give us your express consent to the processing of your personal data (including sensitive and financial), we may be unable to offer you employment (in the case of job seekers) or to grant you some of your work benefits, Medical expenses (in case you have been hired by UPS). 

Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data that we already have the details and treatment of them, as well as to rectify them in case they are inaccurate or instruct us to cancel them if you consider that they are excessive or unnecessary for the purposes that justified their obtaining or oppose to the Treatment for specific purposes.

Any request must indicate your name and address to be answered, a copy of your official identification (passport, voter's card or driver's license), a clear and precise description of the personal data that you want to access or that you want to rectify, cancel Or oppose and any other element that facilitates the location of your data, as well as any other requirement established by the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data held by Individuals and other applicable provisions. 

UPS will respond to any complete request within a maximum period of 20 calendar days or the maximum allowed by law. UPS's response will indicate whether the request for access, rectification, cancellation or opposition is appropriate and, if appropriate, UPS will make the determination within 15 calendar days following the date on which it communicates the response or the maximum allowed by the law. The terms may be extended in the terms set forth by applicable law.

Transfers of your Personal Data

Also, we inform you that your personal data can be transferred and treated inside and outside the country by persons other than UPS. In that sense, your information can be shared with; (i) other employees, contractors, service providers and advisers of UPS; (ii) insurance agents and institutions; (iii) third parties interested in doing business, providing financing, buying shares or assets of UPS or its shareholders or subsidiaries in or around the world or merging with UPS; (iv) commercial allies of UPS; (v) authorities in or abroad; And (vi) to any other person authorized by applicable law or regulation. In accordance with what is established, UPS will inform the third party of the terms and conditions of this Privacy Notice in order to safeguard your personal data. 

By agreeing to this privacy notice, you expressly consent the sharing of your personal data, including your sensitive personal data, with the above-mentioned persons.

Changes to the Notice of Privacy, Legislation and Jurisdiction

UPS reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of this Privacy Notice, notifying it by means of an announcement on our website whose address is for which you are informed that it is your obligation to consult this page on the internet on a regular basis.

You will have the right to cancel your personal data or to limit its use and disclosure in case of changes in the terms and conditions of this Privacy Notice.
